How We Review

Every build on this site passes the same bench before the download button lights up. This page is the bench, published so you can hold us to it.

Step 1: File verification

We check the package identity and exact file size of the APK against the genuine build, audit the permissions it requests, and scan the file. A build that fails any check is never published.

Step 2: Real phones

We install on five handsets: a Samsung Galaxy A55 on Android 15, a Google Pixel 8 on Android 16, a Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro on Android 14, an Infinix Note 40 Pro on Android 14, and a Samsung Galaxy A13 on Android 12. The A13's job is honesty: it shows us where the client's floor is, and we report the floor rather than hiding it.

Step 3: Streaming sessions

We measure what streaming users feel: time from opening a link to first picture, stability across a long live broadcast, seek behaviour on streamed torrents, and data used per hour in both directions. Sessions run at peak evening hours, not in a quiet lab morning, because that is when our readers watch.

Step 4: Player and casting tests

The format list gets tested file by file, including MKV with AC3 audio and TS recordings. Casting is tested with Ace Cast and Google Cast to real TVs and sticks, including the auto transcoding path for devices without AC3 support.
